Levels and Evolution
As your character fights and defeats enemies, s/he gains experience (See "To Battle!" in the beginner guide). When s/he has
gained a set amount, you may
increase your character's level by going to the character screen and using the "level up" button that will appear below your
character's stat chart.
A level up will increase your character's abilities and strength and will make him/her much more powerful in battle. For an idea
of what a level increase does for your character, see the outline below.
Once a character reaches level 10, their next level will be an evolution into a new class. This represents the way that your
character learns and grows more powerful and more impressive. A class increase is similar to a level up, but on a much grander
scale. In addition to receiving an increase in applicable abilities, your character receives an increase in inherent abilities
and is given a new race picture viewable on the character's page. On subsequent level ups, your character will now gain an
increased amount of applicable statistics and hit points.
Level-up Effects:
- Applicable statistics increase based on class
- Additional maximum hit points based on constitution
- You receive 1 assignable skill point (see "skill points")
Class Increase Effects:
- Applicable statistics increase based on class
- Inherent statistics increase based on new class
- Additional maximum hit points based on constitution
- You receive 1 assignable skill point (see "skill points")
- You receive 2 preset skill points based on new class
