Daily Activities
Characters spend a good deal of their day with nothing to do. There are many times when you would like to accompany your character into the dungeons, battle fearsome monsters, and carve a name for yourself in the blood of your enemies…but annoying things like your job get in your way. So what does your character do when you're not out adventuring with them?

Some of the skills that you can choose begin with "daily:". These skills allow you to assign your character to a daily task to do when you're away. For instance, with a Fletcher skill point, you could have your character making arrows during the day. The status of your daily activity is updated each night.

Work units are not lost. If your character can do 450 work units per day, and you have her making arrows that take 100 work units, your character will produce 4 arrows at the end of the first night, and will have the 5th one 50% done. If you let your character go she will produce 5 arrows the next night. Characters continue the same assigned task until assigned to a new task.

You should try not to interrupt your character in the middle of a task if you can help it. Any work units that have gone toward that task will be lost, and the new task will be started anew. Even if you immediately return them to their old task it will be too late, the work will have been lost. Be very careful when doing this.
